Julie Byrt, MSPT, CMMT, Coal Creek Physical Therapy Owner says:
Making the choice to learn AAT has been nothing short of transformational for my professional career and personal life. I can now spot a "slow healer" suffering from anxiety, depression or chronic pain due to PTSD during the first 10 minutes of my evaluation, and do not have to waste time treating them traditionally before deciding they require psychosocial support. I now have two surgeons and two family practice MDs referring patients specifically for AAT every week. They are thrilled to have an outlet for their "difficult patients" and an effective way to explain and treat chronic pain patterns and delayed recovery cases. In short, AAT has given me a life I love every day, given me the ability to successfully treat chronic pain and help even the most challenging of patients, improved my contribution to the medical field and increased my bottom line by increasing referrals to my practice. It is affordable, easy to learn and is the missing link in treating all musculoskeletal pain.
